Momentum is on Los Angeles, CA based Social Reality, Inc. SRAX  side after closing up 37 percent and 9 percent higher after hours. The internet advertising company had strong third quarter numbers posting gross revenue of $5.6 million, compared to $9.5 million in the third quarter of 2016, which included revenue from a large, non-recurring SRAX Reach customer.

The company’s gross profit was $3.1 million, compared to $2.5 million in the third quarter of 2016. Gross margin was 56%, compared to 26% in the third quarter of 2016, reflecting the benefit from reduced low-margin revenue. With Operating expenses at $3.7 million, compared to $3.9 million in the third quarter of 2016, reflecting first quarter 2017 cost management measures.

Cryptocurrency craze stock Riot Blockchain, Inc.RIOT  closed up 42 percent and 10 percent higher afterhours on heavier volume than Tuesday’s session . This stock has been on a six day uptrend and is yet to show signs of slowing down after today’s strong close. The company announced the appointment of Investment Executive Frank M. Bishop to Advisory Board this week. And also recently announced strategic investment in Verady, a blockchain technology company. Verady combines blockchain technology and industry thought leadership to bring accounting standards and audit services to the cryptocurrency market.

The cryptocurrency market is hot right now and this should bode well for Riot Blockchain.
