China Recycling Energy Pops Over 500 Percent Intraday

Despite not having any press release from the company in over 6 months, China Recycling Energy Corp CREG  today popped over 500 percent on heavy volume and a new 52 week high of $6.74. It traded over 26 million shares rallying from its $1.27 opening price to an intraday high of $6.74. The company engages in the recycling energy business in China. It designs, finances, constructs, operates, and transfers waste energy recycling projects to mid- to large-size enterprises involved in high energy-consuming businesses.

Shares of Colorado based Cyber security company root9B Holdings, Inc.RTNB  rallied 150 percent ending up with a T- 12 halt code before closing bell. A T-12 halt code is used by stock exchange regulators when they require information from the company. Trading will remain halted indefinitely until the company satisfies regulators' requests. This is the second time RTNB  is being halted by Nasdaq for lack of additional information in less than 2 months. Making it a constant target for halts every time its stock rallies with unexplained heavy volume.



The Company is a provider of advanced cybersecurity products, services and training. The company said Thursday that it has agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of Tracker Capital Management, which is an early stage investor that focuses on emerging technologies and companies that could become a major player in advancing U.S. national security interests.



The last press release from the company announced foreclosure auction results having previously disclosed the Company received a foreclosure notice from Centriole Reinsurance Company, Ltd. RTNB  no longer has any operating assets and has no ability to generate revenue this led to the resignation of Eric Hipkins as a director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

It will be interesting to see how the stock reacts when the halt is released.
